The partners of the ireams project have worked together on a framework aiming to enhance the implementation and deployment of an inclusive process in the educational and social setting.
This framework will also guarantee a European parity for children and young people with autistic disorder.
It takes into account:
- the possibilities and constraints to be respected in order to favor inclusion: young people are often willing to participate but are sometimes prevented from doing so by fears and difficulties. In addition, autism institutes are constrained by their educational missions and organizational requirements. On the basis of the above, the members of the ireams project have been thinking together about the necessary adjustments to facilitate participation of the young people on a case-by-case basis.
- the respect of the strategies that can already be put in place by the young person, their possibilities of evolutions, and the level of accommodation to be expected from schools. All these aspects often seem to be missing from the previous elaborations.
